Neighborhood

Location is a key feature to the Windsor at Meridian apartment homes. There is so much to offer just a short distance away.

Public Transit

Take advantage of the RTD Light Rail located minutes away providing comfortable access to the Denver Tech Center, Downtown Denver and many lively downtown locations. The Light Rail will also whisk you away to Park Meadows Resort Mall, which combines the best of the Colorado outdoors with over 185 of the finest restaurants and retailers.

Park Meadows Resort Mall

Park Meadows Resort Mall is located less than five miles away, and combines the best of the Colorado outdoors with over 185 of the finest restaurants and retailers. Relax beside the bubbling mountain stream or get lost in the lush landscaping and soaring timber ceilings that are reminiscent of a Grand Mountain Lodge. The Vistas at Park Meadows offers the best in shopping and dining with a view.

Meridian International Office Park

Windsor at Meridian enjoys a prime location at the heart of Denver's most dynamic office park named The Meridian Business Center. The Meridian Business Center is currently recognized as the second largest employment center in the state with an employee base of 150,000.

Freeways/Interstates

Meridian offers excellent accessibility by virtue of being bounded on the west and north by highways I-25 and C/E-470. I-25 provides a major north-south accessibility connecting into Downtown Denver and Denver International Airport (via either I-70 or I-225). C-470 and E-470 currently provide regional access to the east and west connecting to I-70 and Denver International Airport.

Douglas County School District

Douglas County School District maintains its position as a leader in public education in Colorado, with many innovative programs and educational approaches. Support and coordination can be found at the District level, but each school has the flexibility to build its own instructional programs. Parents can find many different choices through the District such as open enrollment, charter schools, instruction for gifted and talented students, magnet schools, an International Baccalaureate program, Advanced Placement courses and other special programs. Our vision is to "create responsible citizens who contribute to society." We strive to maintain a well-researched, integrated and standards-based curriculum, a rich array of extracurricular offerings and strong community involvement.

Douglas County students continue to outpace state performance in every grade and on every subject tested by the Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP). In 2006, DCSD topped metro area schools in 20 out of 26 tests. In comparison to the percentage of students scoring at or above proficiency, Douglas County students exceed the state average by 12-21 percentage points. Compared to the district average from the four previous years, all grade levels show gains in math. Gains were also shown in writing and reading.
