Windsor values the importance of giving back to our local communities and encourages associates to participate in charitable and volunteer organizations.
Nationally, our employees have volunteered their time and services to such reputable organizations as Habitat for Humanity, Race for the Cure, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and The Red Cross.
At the local level, our communities align themselves with organizations and affiliations that directly impact their neighborhoods.
- In 2012, the “Windsor Warriors” was formed with the mission to promote company participation in charitable fundraisers and local community events strengthening and inspiring the community.
- Since 2010, the Southeast Region’s largest charity event, Love Cures All, has raised a total of $277,410 through silent auctions for goods donated by local merchants, corporate sponsorships and a bachelor/bachelorette date auction. Windsor Property Management has partnered with the Dallas Chapter of Young Texans Against Cancer to fund breast cancer screening clinics and research.
- In 2012, the Windsor Bear Care Program was created to give residents and associates an opportunity to sponsor a teddy bear to be donated to local children’s hospitals. The Program has raised $68,060 and 6,280 bears have been donated organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
- In 2018, the Northeast Region partnered with Move For Hunger (https://moveforhunger.org/). This program picks up non-perishable food items from those moving and delivers it to local food banks where it is distributed to families in the local community in need.
Many of our team members donate their time and resources to local shelters and community outreach programs, organizing food and clothing drives and participating in local fundraising events.
